Beer Tour Around Vegas

Top 5 Beer Spots All Around Town!

Drinking beer doesn't have to be just at your home, at parties, or on adventures. Being in Vegas, we have found that a good beer spot is few and far between. Luckily with the explosion of craft beer, some sweet new and old spots have surfaced. We want you guys to check them out and learn to drink beer like a local!

Atomic Liquors (and Kitchen)

917 Fremont St. Las Vegas, NV 89101

Atomic Liquors Downtown
This is one of the first big arguments Justin and Veronica have had; over whose job is cooler. Justin's job won out for the exclusivity of the beer taps and the history of the bar. Atomic Liquors is the oldest free standing bar in Las Vegas. It is a destination for tourists and locals alike. Starting out as Virginia's cafe, the owner acquired a liquor pouring license which elevated them to a new style of liquor sale. They had the tavern license which Atomic liquor still holds, tavern license number one.  The reason why this tavern has the name of Atomic Liquors is calling back to when people would come and watch the Atomic testing from the roof of the building.  Flash forward to today, Atomic Liquors always has 20 rotating drafts and with the addition of the Kitchen next door, they have added 10 additional taps and delicious food. They always have the most exclusive beers from one-offs from Cascade, to tap takeovers from small or unknown breweries.  In addition to all of these drafts, the Kitchen has an exclusive bomber list that have been collected over the last four years, while the Kitchen was just an idea.  Of course, if you're visiting the Kitchen, ask for your server Justin and he'll show you the ins and outs of the beer scene.

Pub 365

255 E Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89169

Located inside the Tuscany Casino
If you are as indecisive as I am, 30 taps just isn't enough.  So, Pub 365 is your answer!! With 40 rotating drafts, and over 365 bottled and canned beers, there's something for every type of beer lover. Pub 365 opened one year ago in the Tuscany Hotel and Casino. Despite the casino being there for over 10 years, not many locals know about the fun food and drink options located inside.  Pub 365 was opened to be a beer focused spot with an awesome beer club, tasty craft cocktails and creative gastropub food.  The draft list contains quite a few local favorites, as well as foreign brews that showcase the traditional styles.  There is also a special list called the Unicorn list that features everything from Mother Earth Seasons to the Boston Beer Company Utopia.  There are so many beers to choose from, and there are always new additions.  Pub 365 also has monthly beer dinners, brewery meet and greets, and tap takeovers.  Another shameless plug, Veronica is an awesome server and would LOVE to be of help to you.

595 Craft and Kitchen

4950 S Rainbow Blvd Ste 100, Las Vegas, NV 89118

Newly opened this month
Justin and I have driven past this sign on Tropicana a few times anticipating it's opening.  This spot has 24 taps that are always changing. We've come in three times and have seen varying beers every time. We were able to have a conversation with one of the owners,Van-Alan Nguyen. He mentioned that the focus is on engaging customers, not just about making money.  The owners know there is a beer consuming market here in Vegas and their focus is to consistently bring in unique beers. This spot definitely focuses on the local market while reaching out to people that want to go out and try new beers and food, without the extra element of gaming. They have delicious food, with a Southeast Asian influence, including a popcorn of the day as a perfect snack.  If you have a friend not into beer, they have a kick ass cocktail list that includes gin, bourbon, Cynar, as well as fresh squeezed juices.  We love the Dinosaur World from Modern Times that was nowhere in town, and the Foggy Figures from Mikkeller, which we had in our fridge, but had never seen on tap.  They also have some breweries we hadn't seen, like Prodigy from Santa Barbara. and BNS from San Diego. With an owner from East San Diego, you get a lot of exclusive deliciousness that most bars cannot get. This new spot is destined for greatness and we want everyone to know about it!

Shakespeare's Grille and Pub

790 Coronado Center Dr, Henderson, NV 89052

Shakespeare's has outside patio seat
Shakespeare's is a great spot in the Henderson area that stands out for its great food and unique beer selection.  So many restaurants and bars in the Henderson area focus on cocktails or fancy food. This spot is a version of a classic British style Pub that doubles as an awesome hangout spot.  The draft list always features a large British and Irish beer selection.  There is a bottle list that has some really competitive pricing to other beer spots, with those same rare beers.  The food is also delicious with classic favorites like Fish and Chips, Scotch Egg, and Shepherds Pie.  There are pool tables, darts, skiball, and karaoke. With all of this classic food, games, and tasty beer, this spot is a top pick for this duo.

Pizza Rock

201 N 3rd St, Las Vegas, NV 89101
Green Valley Ranch Resort, 2300 Paseo Verde Pkwy, Henderson, NV 89052

Pizza Rock at Green Valley Ranch
We first checked out Pizza Rock downtown for their acoustic brunch. They had some fun brunch pizzas as well as bottomless mimosas, a staple for a delicious brunch.  Its proximity to Justin's second job, Triple George, makes it a nice quick stop for pizza. The main location we visit is the location in Green Valley Ranch.  This is the perfect pre-movie spot to get a happy hour appetizer and a delicious beer.  They have over 30 tap handles featuring many local beers, San Diego breweries, and a few from the East Coast. The owner, Tony Gemignani, is based out of New York, so the pizza is scrumptious and perfect for the east East Coast side in Justin. The bartenders are always so knowledgable about the beers featured, and provide quick and efficient service that is perfect for a quick bite before the movies!
